Default Power antenna -> whip antenna?

Anyone ever taken the power antenna out and had just a regular whip antenna in its place? Mine i slightly ben and doesnt want to go up and down all the way with out me making it do it. Annoying. Isnt there a replacment peice for it?

You can buy the replacement mast separately (PN 10256439) but it retails for $63 so you might not want to spend that much. Replacing with a fixed mast antenna is simple - just remove the old one and bolt the new one in place.

Wow! I can't believe that so many pictures are required to show how to do something so simple! Let me know when you're looking for a tutorial on checking tire pressure.

I havnt even looked at the motor or anything. I figured someone here had done this before. So now I know the easiest way.
