Talking Wiring Up A Kill Switch

How do i go about doing this? I am and electrical newb Should i wire up the kill switch to kill the fuel pump? Or wire it up to kill the starter? Any help would be great

can do either one, its all up to how u wanna do it, could kill power to the pcm if u wanted to

IMO best is cutting the fuel pump if u cut the starter wire they roll start it

I'd put the switch on the fuel pump. Only way to steal the car that way is to put it on a rollback.

So how do i go about installing the kill switch, tapping into the fuel pump?

not sure but I'd like to know too. I'd kill the fuel pump cause if they try to steal it the engine will still turn over and make noise. with the starter kill no noise and they might come back later

Sweet man. More than likely i will need a hand. I a fugging newb when it comes to electrical things. I am trying very hard to read and learn, but the info out there is limited.

What ways have you ran a kill switch? Where in Lombard do you live?

by local i ment in the chi area, i am in palatine

i have ran em off killing ignition coils, kiling fuel pumps, disabling NSS switches, clutch safety switches all sorts of goofy combos.

nice. And yeah Palatine is about 15 mins from me. What would you rather kill.. Fuel Pump, starter..

What is involved with the clutch safety switeches. I got my kill switch off ebay for $10. so i am sure it will be easy to wire in

what i ment by clutch safety switches is that some ppl utilize that to make it a multipart kill

what kill switch do u have

i jsut bought it off ebay yesterday. Has a toggle switch and to wires leads. For (+) and (-) I am sure that will work right?

haha esentially u bought a swtich and wire they list it for a camaro but its universal could use it on anything

this is true. It all works though....

But i plan on putting the kill switch on in spring time. As you can see it is winter time here and my car is put away in storage

So if your down for helping me in spring/summer let me know
