Stock Radio tied into Security?

Stock Radio tied into Security? I want to replace the stock radio in my 94 Z with another stock radio out of a 96 Z. The 96 has a security system and the 94 does not. Is the security system integrated into the radio in any way? I don't think it is, but I didn't want to switch them out and run into any problems, so I thought i'd ask first.
