Default CDT's dont sound good

Got component CDT's in the door and midbass... sub is a 10 kicker L7.... headunits a JVC touchscreen... speakers are on the stock monsoon amp... it just sounds shitty to me... should I just bypass the amp and run off the headunit?

Yes, you need a separate amp, but it's mainly so you can bypass the stock crossovers.

I agree, run a better amp off of your head units RCA's, and use the CDT crossovers. I think the sound quality from the monsoon amp in my camaro (also a 2000, so it's the same as yours) is pretty **** poor, regardless of what speakers it's connected to.
