Question ???can i REMOVE my DRL module and re-wire to the flasher to keep my blinkers.....

wanting to know if i can remove my DRL module and re-wire and splice wires to the flashers to keep my blinkers functional???

it is possible and easy to do. I did it on my trans am but i dont remember the exact way to do it. You have to connect two posts on the back of the module behind the radio...so you dont actually remove a module completely simply solder in a 1/4 inch or 1/8 piece of wire. I can seems to search to find it but somebody should have pictures of the back of the module and which two to connect.

well guys, i figured it out. removed my DRL module completely and still kept my blinkers functional. really easy to do. took me about 5 min to figure out just by experimenting with the wires

Daytime Running Lights...... I dont remeber the colors but all ya gotta do it cut and splice the 4 correct wires to 2 and well there ya go... I did this about 2 years ago and havent had an issue with my Clears corners since.

You connect the dark blue to the dark blue with white tracer and the light blue to the light blue with white tracer. This maintains the turn signals while bypassing the DRLs.

Removing the DRL module (or unplugging it as some have suggested) is not without its side effects. Your parking brake warning light won't function and M6 cars won't have a remote hatch release anymore.

ya i didnt care so much for the brake dash light going off. i have all the extra lights on frm doing weight reduction and building a strip car
