Double Din install 1999 camaro Z28 convert I just finished this install. I had the bezel sent out to doubledmods. I did all the stereo install, very simple. Hardware store brackets and a bit of drilling and measuring and its in. Check out the pictures... Damn I love this Mod.

136 dollars for the camaro one... not bad considering that some of the people here wanted to make them and sell them for 200$. Ian Kee (Kee audio) mentioned that the paint needed to make the texture look right, comes in black, but not in charcoal. I see that doubledmods had problem too. I dont know how i feel about how that color looks...
I bought a stock bezel from ebay for $5, I think i'll mess with that for a while before i pay money and wait 4-6 weeks. Anyone notice that 1999camaroz28 only made one post on this website promoting something, even though he has nitrous and is installing a DD HU? P.S. I lucked out having Kee (and also GMMG) in my town, I'm seeing him wed for him to do an install and give me tips on how to make a DD bezel for my camaro. I'll do a writeup if it comes out ok.
