Speaker sizes are the same as the later Monsoon system - 6.5S (6.5" oversize) mids with .75" tweeters in the doors, 6.5S subs in the sail panels (beside the rear seats), and 4" mids with .75" tweeters in the hatch area. I was trying to find the impedance ratings for you but I don't have the 93-96 manual here at work. I know the tweeters, door mids, and hatch mids are all 4-ohm. I'm not sure about the sail panel subs.

The factory sail panel speakers are quite easy to remove and they will be stamped on the back with the impedance rating in ohms. If there are only two wires then it's single voice coil and if there are four wires then it's DVC.

the middle ones are 4". so it goes 6-3/4" to 4" to 6-3/4" (10 speakers)

Uh, no. I don't know where you got that idea but it's wrong and I'm surprised you'd repeat it after I corrected you once. F-bodies have never used speakers that small in the sail panels - 3rd gen had 6x9 speakers there.

Ten speakers consist of:
2 - 6.5S (6.5" oversize - 6.75" will fit) door mids
2 - .75" door tweeters
2 - 6.5S sail panel subs
2 - 4" hatch mids
2 - .75" hatch tweeters
I'd be happy to provide you with part numbers or you can check with your buddies at Crutchfield (they're listed as "rear seat side panels"). Actually, you have a 96 - just pull off one of the sail panel speaker grilles and have a look.
