Need help! Alarm(horn) keeps going off I hv a 99 camaro z28. When I got the car approx 1 mo ago, I bought it and it didn't hv the keyless entry remote. When i would lock the doors it is done manually. So now I bought the factory keyless remote fob..I got it to work but now when I arm the car the horn goes off.wtf.....when I disarm the car it's normal,but when I arm the car the doors lock n all but the horn goes off. Can anyone help? Thx.... I don't hv any aftermarket alarm but the stock one.....someone told me the alarm should be in passive mode. Anyone heard of such a thing or can help me?

The arming method (passive or active) and the arming verification (lights, horn, both, none) are programmable. The programming instructions are in your owner's manual and posted in this thread.
