Default New double din alpine iXA-W404

http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...model=iXA-W404

I'm pretty impressed with this hu considering how it interfaces with the iphone and ipods. The optional add ons sound pretty impressive also.

I've been looking for a good quality 1.5-2 DIN replacement for my monsoon and this one is the first alpine that i have seen that is over 1 DIN.

The work involved with installing a double DIN doesn't bother me but i would appreciate some input from you guys in the "audio section" as i'm still an audio rookie.

comments/concerns?

Thanks

also, the left part thats like less than half a circle looks really funky and poorly designed. like a last minute "where do we put these buttons?"

Alpine's iPod control is awesome. I have the iDA-x001 in my truck and just picked up the X305 for the car. Makes scrolling and searching very fast and easy while driving.

In my opinion, at that price, the Imprint module should be included, though! That's the only complaint I have with my Alpine IDA-X100 is the lack of a decent EQ without having to shell out $200. My Formula has the Monsoon system, and the high midrange frequencies simply are not there! Would the Imprint help with this?
