Default LED question

i want daytime running lights like the audi, porsche and other high end cars

i know there is a company that sells led strips that are flexible to do it but are they bright enough??

i have the housing for the lights covered i just need to figure out what i want for led's

so anyone got recomendations on some led's bright enough to be used as daytime running lights, and to be a little more clear i will not be using the factory houseing and i dont want to just put 3157 in my stock housings.

i can solder and put the resisors in, but if the company that sells the strips are bright enough

mods can remove this if im not allowed to post these guys but i dont think anyone on here sells leds

oznium, the strip i was looking at says led brightnes (mcd) is 8000 for the color white but i have no idea how bright that is

thanks guys

yea i know the strips your talking about.

i want to do the same thing with mine, love those white led drl's

i would think they would be bright enough, as long as you have them pointed pretty straight forward cause of the viewing angle.

the leds i used for my tail lights are 8000 mcd i think, pretty sure, and they're bright enough even with dark vht
