Exclamation Windows, radio out, help!

I somehow managed to short the white wire from the convertible top switch to ground. My radio, windows and top no longer function. I checked all the fuses and everything is good. When I apply power to the radio fuse and window relay, things work; the positive side of the fuse is not getting any juice. I have no idea what else may not be working.

Any suggestions?

This same exact thing happened to me a year ago, but I've just been living with it.
I'd kill to know how to fix it.

How did you check the fuses?

Checked the fuses with an multimeter. I'm onboard with the BCM issue discussed above, makes sense now that I think about it; going to check into that as soon as I get home tonight. Although I'm a little nervous about messing with it because my security light has been on for 2 years and the car still starts. I'm afraid if i breathe on the BCM wrong it won't even start anymore Fortunately I'm pretty experienced with electronics so I should be able to figure it out.

just ohm your key pellet to get a resistance and place a resister in the connector that is under the dash for the vats people might not recommend it but it beats replacing ur lock cylinder and the window/radio thing you need to check under hood wiring

Actually, the RAP circuit of the BCM is protected by fusible link E but it would have to be quite a short to melt that. A quick spark-producing short wouldn't be enough to damage the fusible link although it could be enough to damage the BCM.

OK, well, here's the whole truth

I build a diamond plate center console this weekend and pinched the wire when installing. I didn't catch it until i tried to put the top up and the radio freaked out (along with some of the guages), i tried it again and that's when everything went dead

For what it's worth, the console looks nice

true--but if you have no power out of your radio fuse, fusible link F is the one responsible for suppling voltage to that particular fuse, so while you are there go ahead and check F aswell

I found 3 links. One is labeled E (which is good), the other two are labeled MM. Where is F?

remove the kick panel on passengers side, reach up and pull. It is held in by pressure, no screws or anything...

Of course it does. The windows and radio are both powered by the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) circuit which is controlled by the BCM.

Not exactly. The COURTESY and RADIO ACCY fuses are fed by fusible link F. That means the Monsoon amp and the power antenna would not work but the radio itself is fed by the RAP circuit from the BCM.

OK, so the symptom for the radio is that it reatains internal power (doesn't lose the time), but the radio and antenna do not work unless I apply power to the right side of the fuse (just like the windows and top). I can't seem to find link F though
