The Type R is 6-7/8in top mount depth, The Type X is 8.6in top mount depth... Its jus shy of 2in taller then the Type R. How much room is there bewteen the bottom of the magnet on your Type R in your stealth enclosure and then ask yourself if you have about 2in to spare.

i believe i have seen some stealth boxes with a mounting depth of 9 inches, but you would use up all of these airspace inside the box. a better idea would be to have one built for your passanger side since you can get significantly more airspace.

JL audio has one that will fit for sure. Kicker needs .66 cf minimal to work. Many will work. Subthump.com, same applies, many small enclosure companies.

Hi! You should be able to get a 10" Type-X in one of the fiberglass enclosures. It will be close but I am sure it would fit, especially if I did a 3/4" mounting ring on the surface. That's one big sub though...motor structure wise.
I have 4 fiberglass backings fabricated ready for completion.
