Default installing Ignition Switch Panel

my camaro wouldn't start at the track yesterday and the security light was blinking. I was wondering if I could install a ignition panel with a start button on it and bypass the security system on the car so it wont happen again. The panel I was thinking of installing was this one from jegs.

Has anyone done this or know of a bypass that way the car will start?
The battery is new and I tired to jump it off my truck and I also tried to jump the starter but nothing. When I hit the key to start it, you can hear it click at the fuse box under the hood and then the thorllthe body makes a sound but the car wont start. the fuel pump kicks on and the radio works but the car is dead.
