Default Best Subwoofer Setup For Deep Bass?

Hey guy's, I'm changing my subwoofer setup & I need advice.
I previously had a 10" alpine type R subwoofer in a subthump
stealth enclosure. It sounded great with the mid to upper level.
But it seemed to lack the punch I am looking for in the lower notes.

So I'm switching to a dual 12" subwoofer setup. I already have a Q-Logic
dual 12" box. Approximately 0.88 cubic foot air space per chamber.

Anyways, my question is what 12" subwoofers will produce the best
deep bass? (40hz & below) Any input is appreciated. My budget is
around $300 for both subs.

Honestly, the best thing I've EVER heard for clarity was the sub and box I have in my car. Its a PORTED single 12" box from Probox. Its $300 for the box and there sub plus shipping from Texas, which would be about $100. I talked to the owner of the company about what do go with in my car and he suggested that box with there sub and told me overall, the sub they include isn't the most spectacular, but in that box, it'll sound better than anything else you can put in it, which is true so far. I've tried a FI BTL in the thing ($550 sub) and it didn't come close. The box is tuned to 55hz in the car, outside of the car, I think its 38, and it will hit DAMN low notes. The best part is it doesn't need much power. 400w RMS and you should be good.

I just got a price quote for the ported single 12" enclosure and it's 375 plus shipping. I think that's the one i'm going for when I can get some extra money together.

Going to a 12" alone with help hit the lower notes. I have a single Kicker CVX 12" sealed in my truck. Hits looowwww and sounds awsome. RE audio makes some quality subs aswell.

Might save you some space by staying with one higher end sub than 2 but that's just my .02

This Is what I Have, Single 12 in custom box ported box tuned to 35Hz. I would personally never buy car audio again from anyone except this guy. Im no audio expert but Ive been into car audio for as long as I can remember. Remember when the cerwin vega stroker first came out in 1992, what a beast

MY camaro has three fosgate p3 subs with 4000 rms fosgate amp in sealed box. blows away any f-body system I've ever heard

Well 10's will help you have the rock n roll punch, 12 is more for bassy music, and obviously i dont know if you want a 15.. I have always had great luck with Rockford t-1 or t-2 12's with around 2000watts mono class D... Ports always help

I have never done any business with that guy but that is surely one **** poor feedback. I would not even considering a deal with such a seller.

.88 cu ft. of air space for each twelve is way under spec for most if not all 12" subs i know of.

Look at some of the MATTS Audio subs as well. These are very good and make some nice numbers. I've just started messing around over the past year and so far I've been very pleased with the results.

Well, "as a consumer" you might want to read this. 22 pages on Patrick aka Robot Underground aka Juicyrobot aka Underground Industries, etc.

Pretty much anything from the following would be better.

Sundown
Fi
RE
CDT
Focal
Rainbow
Image Dynamics
MB Quart

I could keep going if you like...
