Not to bring this back from the dead but according to the schematic the fuel gauge, tach, and engine temp is all ran by the data wire. So my thing is i jumped a wire from my new psi harness data line that eventually goes to the obd to the grey ipc wire on the back of the cluster and I have tach and engine temp but no fuel gauge still I thought it was empty but dumped 5 gal of gas into it and it still shows empty. How does that make sense?

Are you sure you have a working sending unit?

It worked before the guy installed the psi harness. But how would I check to see if the sending unit is working with out removing it?

There are tests that can be made from the harness connector under the left side of the car in front of the axle. From there you can test both meter response and sender resistance if you have a potentiometer which can produce 40-ohms to 250-ohms to simulate proper sender range. But the most common cause of problems like this is bad connections and the fact that you replaced the wiring between when it was working and now would point to that being the most likely problem. Check that all the connections are solid and tight first (especially at that connector near the axle) before chasing down other possibilities.
