Keyless Entry with Push Button start
Ive been looking at getting a keyless entry like the ones from digital guard dawg. http://www.digitalguarddawg.com/2GOKEYLESS2.html
I want to be able to walk to my car and the doors unlock and when i walk away the doors to lock and set the alarm, like the guarddawg setup. But i think its a bit to pricey.
So what i was thinking is that i get this system, http://www.lelong.com.my/spy-smart-k...-06-Sale-P.htm , and put the S2000 push button ignition in to start and kill the engine.
I would bypass the lock in the steering column.
What do you guys think about putting the push button where the factory key switch is, or simply removing and making a custom plate over the factor key switch and putting it in the small cubby hole next to the cigarette light with my fan switch?
I know there are multiply threads about the S2000 start button, and about keyless entry, but how do i use the same switch to start and kill the engine. And is there a way i could get it to turn on my ACC by just taping it and not holding it, similar to the digital guard dawg kit?
Thanks for all the help, im new to the electrical side of the car.
