Default Aftermarket antenna options???

My 93 camaro came with some busted junk aftermarket antenna, and I want to get a new one that will work and look much better. Is there a specific kind that will only work for these cars or can I go with a universal short one?

I'm looking at one of these....

But not sure if it will work. Anybody know what I should do?

Check out Bit Viper on here. Pretty nice pieces that work well, I think he still makes them. A lot of people have also cut down the stock one and reattached the ball on the end with good luck too.

Bump...

I don't have the stock antenna, and I want something that will look nicer. Not really digging the BitViper thing, just want something aftermarket that will be easy. Will the 3" ebay one work?

I can't get a solid answer by searching. Maybe I'm just not searching right.

Thats a really cool idea but I'm looking to spend as little as possible. I don't mind still having a visible antenna, and the little 3 incher looks nice, I just need to know if something like that would work for these cars.

Yep....
If your budget is what your minding.. just cut the stocker.. just make sute to cut it a multiple of its full length.. ie 1/2.. 1/4 etc
Save the ball off teh tip and just stick it back on.

BTW Ive seen thoes hidden antennas for less someplace.. check around.. believe they were 20-30 bucks
