Default How much sound deadening needed for doors and sails?

At the end of this month the HD-6M DVC's should be shipping from Ian @ Kee Audio, just ordered Focal 165VB component set for the doors and I'll soon order a new HU in a few days after I make my mind up.

I want to get everything ready so when the subs come in I can rock and roll. Approximately how many sheets of sound deadening will I need for the doors and sail panel areas? I'll probably go with Raammat, they're 15"x15" sheets.

I think I used about 7 sheets of Raammat between both doors, single layer outer shell only. I also put a square of foam behind the door speakers, over the Raammat damper material. On the sails I just put a square of the foam material behind each one.

Also consider preventive maintenance on your door panels while you have them off if you want to make the most of it:
