Nice and cheap sail panel sub solution!

I ordered these up last week and installed 'em yesterday and I must say they sound awesome for $10 each. Granted they just have a foam surround and paper cone but they certainly do the trick. I'm running a Kenwood HU with the Monsoon amp still in line and these speakers wired off of just 2 channels from the harness and my music has come alive with bass. Nice tight mids and pretty impressive sustained lows out of these. I usually buy Polk Audio but I wasn't motivated enough to put real 6.5 subs with an amp in that location but I'm thoroughly impressed with these instead. Just a heads up for anyone who doesn't mind the fact that it's not a brand name speaker.

better than a blown stock speaker, sure, but I would never put anything made by Pyramid in my car. You do get what you pay for and with Pyramid, that's not much.

the bass response is pretty okay, WAY better than stock, i remember trying to see if they still even worked by placing your hand on the grill. nothing... i put the new ones in and you can feel a ton of air coming thru. the stock ones werent blown or anything.. just not enough to fill the void between the Low end and the Mid range speakers.

OP, did you have to use a spacer to install them?
I'm no audiophile, I bought my car with blown speakers and threw some 6.5" sony xplod's in there but they have absolutely 0 bass to them at all
I just ordered a set so we'll see how they go, I know my system sounds pretty bad right now but I've never had $100 for the bazookas, I don't mind being cheap
