Default Good Ground?

I have a 2002 Firehawk. I just got a new headunit and speakers in my car. There is a terrible whining sound as i accelerate. i assume its a bad ground. i was wondering if anyone knows where a good ground might be located in order to stop that sound. it is truely horrific! Thanks in advance

I had that problem in my camaro after running speaker wire. the wire was touching a ground point and there was interferance from that. check to make sure your speaker wires didnt get pushed somewhere near one of the grounding studs.
