I did the Kicker CVT 6.5's (10cvt654) 4ohm in place of the sail panel subs...
they work and sound good...but they are power hungry and dont get loud with the stock monsoon amp... you have to drive them with something more powerful...

I used an Alpine 500W mono amp and wired the speakers in parallel to get a 2ohm load
that worked great...sounded good, nice amount of thump...
found they sounded good with the crossover set around 80 with my setup..
they actually sounded good and worked upwards of 140hz..but I didnt need or want the crossover that high...my system did great... I just wanted more "Concert subwoofer" sound in my car...you work doing audio at concerts for a living, you get used to a certain kind of low end..

Speakers dont "Break in"
they only "Get Old" after a lot of use...

They have a harder hit, but they do not carry the bass like the stockers....... They mount up pretty much straight forward, but you will have to find the right holes to line up. I am having mixed thoughts on mine..... Will give them a month or so and go from there. I def want to put some new 4s in the back though if I keep them. If not.... Will put Infinity like I have in the doors and run the rear wires to them for full range.
