Default No CD changer - Can I use GM9-AUX?

Are all 2001 Monson equipped factory head units capable of controlling the optional CD changer even if the car didn't come with the CD changer?

I'm trying to find out if the car can use the GM9-AUX adapter if it did come equipped with the 12 disc changer...

Having the CD-Changer is irrelevant. You just need a headunit that could control the CD-CHANGER. The 2001 Monsoon headunit you have can control the CD-Changer so the GM9-AUX will also work.

I had a GM9-AUX in my 2001 Formula for a while (before I replace the headunit) and I don't have the CD-Changer.

My headunit was the 2001 CD Player version. The 2001 Cassette Player version will also work.
