Know everyone seems hooked on GO Pro...I threw mine away!, check out "Race Optics Sports Camera Technology", at least you can see the icons and you don't have to spend half your time setting the camera up!

Good Luck

I know zero about cameras and go pro was the first website i looked at, and they do have a pretty sweet presentation, Product was rated 4.9 out of 5 with 29 reviews, but im not gonna go buy the first one i find either. Thats why i posted here, to see what alternatives others are using, get some real world feedback, and pick up on some other brands to research, I like the idea of not having to spend much time to set the camera up as you mentioned above

I have a GoPro Hero and i love the thing. Great quality video and what not. However, getting the settings you want takes time to set. The downfall would be that you cant watch what you record until you hook it up to your computer or tv..

other than that id recommend it
