Had some work done with my door, the exterior panel was replaced, I don't know the whole process is but my radio is not turning off when I open the door anymore. As in, park, turn the car off and the lights and radio stay on as usual, but when I open the door they all just stay on, and closing the door and locking it or whatever does not turn them off either. I eventually get everything turned off by doing some kind of voodoo dance with the door and the key fob but something is obviously a miss. Any ideas?

The door switch is built into the latch.
There are a few different scenarios to check:
* Make sure wire connected / intact
* May need adjustment
* Possibly failed and needs replacement

I took it back to the shop that worked on the door and they put a whole new switch/latch in (they had one sitting around, lucky for me) and that fixed it. Not sure exactly what was wrong but don't really care either, haha.
