Question Need some help with Amp Signal wire on new set up

So here's my new audio set up.

RockFord Fosgate PBR300x4 -4 channel amp(75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms) that powers a set of alpine compoents and a set of coxials.

Here's where it gets interesting, I am not using a head unit.

The amp is attached to a bluetooth music receiver (Belkin F8Z492-P)
that pairs up with my phone to stream music.

I have the amp's accesory tapped into the factory harness but my problem is that anytime i have key onto accesory or the car is on, the amp turns on and the expected buzzing is heard from the speakers because there's no audio being streamed.

How do I wire this properly so the buzzing stops?

Basically I'm trying to create a car version of a wireless Ipod dock.

Sounds like a ground problem. Your amp should come on when the ignition is on and off (sounds like you have that figured out). You could try a ground loop isolator or a better ground (location, wire). Not familiar with the setup so sorry if that doesnt help...

I only have the blue accesory wire coming from the amp and taps into factory harness.
The factory harness has its own ground ,I'm not sure what to use for ground?

Does the amp your using not have a ground? If so what gauge, where is it grounded, and how long is it?

The remote wire (blue wire) is just to tell the amp when to turn on and off (guessing you know this). If the amp turns on and off fine then thats not the problem, theres no audio signal coming through the wire or anything that will change the sound or distort the signal...

ok, i rethought about this.

My question is can I connect this remote accessory wire to a on/off switch instead of tapping into the factory harness?

If yes, then what kind of switch and where should I ground it to?

The switch would not ground. A simple SPST (two pin) toggle switch is all that's needed. One pin gets 12V power and the other goes to the amp's remote wire.
