Twixmixt

So I picked up a 2002 z28 a few months back. The car came with an autopage rs900 security system already installed but the autopage remotes didnt work. Today the car's security light came on and the car wont start. I checked around and it already has the resistor to bypass the VATS. I accidently set off the alarm but the key wouldnt disarm the car. I thought thats the problem the resistor was supposed to get rid of? also the car doesnt have an antenna so im not to sure if thats why the remote doesnt work. If anyone has any idea whats causing this any info would be greatly appreciated. Thx
