Default alternator quit

Well my stock alternator finally quit on me. Going to upgrade to the truck alternator. Have a couple questions for you guys. Should I buy a new one from the parts store with a lifetime warranty, or just spend the 50 bucks and get the one from lkq? Another question is about the big 3 upgrade what lengths are ask the wires? Thanks for any help gentlemen

I have read both of those, but neither gives the lengths of the cables. Those are very informative, but im having someone put the cables together for me and was hoping to let him know how long they are before I have to pull mine out.
