Default Compatibility Question

Hi All....
I just had a question regarding the Head Light Harness on my 2001 Trans Am. One of mine has become corroded and I am looking to buy a new Harness. Will only the 98-02 Harness work? Or could I use a 93-97 Harness from another firebird? I thought they are different, but I am not 100% sure. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

98 to 02 only. The 93 to 97 had a single sealed beam, dual filament bulb that used 1 socket. 98 to 02 has 2 sealed beams with a single filament, and uses 2 sockets.

What part do you need? you can get most of the connectors either bare or with pig tails so you don't have to replace the entire harness.

I was planning on doing exactly that. I was just going to take the little plug end cut it off and rewire it to mine. I just need the female connector end for one of my headlights as it has become corroded. I'm just having a hard time finding one anywhere. Most people I saw were selling the sets of wire for both lights for like 100 bucks, I just need the one

There are some links there to get the 2-pin female bulb connectors and the 5-pin harness connector further down the harness.

$4 for a 4703 female bulb connector with pigtail.

My bad for not being specific...I need a harness that connects to the motor to lift my headlight up. My headlights are all turning on fine, there is just a short in the Female connector that raises the motor.

Sorry about that

You mean the connector that plugs into the motor? I haven't looked at it myself.

If its anything like some of the other connectors, you might get lucky at Pep Boys or at one of the vendors listed in the threads in the above post.
