Default 1 channel vs 5 channel

Need to buy a new amp for my sub and was wondering if I should just get a 5 channel and run all my speakers/sub off that since both amps are around the same age and im sure the other one might be on its way out.

Most people prefer to run the monoamp (1 Channel) for a subwoofer & 4 channel amp for front tweeters and run sail pannel speakers off the HU.

Not sure what your speakers set up is though.

I just replaced them all with pioneer 4 ways about a year ago, not sure of the models but I could always pop off the covers and look.

do a 5 channel if you can find one that matches power level of your sub

JL Audio 900/5 will work very well for what you are looking for.

Yes but I am sure with Pioneer speakers he will not want to spend that much on an amp.

The Massive NX5 is a really nice amp as well for about 1/3rd of the JL HD 900.5
