The only blue wire on the Pioneer harness is blue/white and says system remote control. I have a thick blue wire open from the aftermarket harness adapter plugging into my cars original harness.
What does the blue wire plug into? The hot pink wire on the same harness?
Thanks

I just did the same thing on mine. The system remote wire needs to be hooked to the antenna wire as well as amp remote. It should hook to the thick blue wire on your after market harness. The antenna will remain up while the stereo/cd player is on.

So you hooked the blue and white stripped wire of the Pioneer headunit to the open thick blue wire of the metra aftermarket harness? Is that all?
