I was going to get new door speakers and rear speakers. I took off the speaker covers and the rear Seem to be 4 1/2" with a place for a tweeter. The door speakers, do the have to be shallow speakers?

It's a 2000 camaro ss, forgot to put that

Plenty of room in the doors. People here like Kee Audio one of our sponsors. Have a look at his packages. If you don't like what you see, spec out his speakers that you know fit with no problems and get something else. I just bought a pair of his sail panel speakers and I'm happy with them and they fit perfectly. Just make sure they are 4ohm in the door and rears 2ohm in the sails! Have fun!

Please read the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the section. And don't worry about the speaker impedance (2-ohm vs. 4-ohm)... when you read the sticky you'll see why.

Will the amp be stable with an all 2ohm speaker load? This what I was getting at.

That is usually not a problem because 2-ohm speakers (other than subs) are somewhat uncommon. Go looking for 6.5" components for the doors or 4" mids for the hatch and you will be seeing 4-ohm speakers everywhere. Any amp can handle higher impedance than optimal but amps generally can't handle speakers with lower impedance than their stable rating.

That was explained in the FAQ that I suggested the OP read.
