please help wiring problems

Hi guys
I have a 2003 gmc Sierra 6.0 3/4 ton HD I recently rebuild the truck from being wrecked and I am having some wiring problems. When I first had the truck running all lights worked exempt for my front driver running light (the socket is missing the insert) with the head lights off all lights on the back work. With headlights on I have reverse lights till I step on the brake they they turn off and my blinker lights turn on. When I turn on my blinker my tail lights flash to.
Sorry for the long post but this Is driving me crazy any help is appreciated
