Default Subwoofer w/ Monsoon and Aftermarket Head Unit

Okay, so I've been searching around and around many forums and I can't seem to find an answer. I know that the replacement of the factory Delco HU will not disable the Monsoon amp. However, when hooking up the new Head Unit, I noticed that the amplifier remote wire does have its own splice connection. I hooked it up thinking that it'd be okay to power the Monsoon. Now, my question is this: If I decide to go with an aftermarket subwoofer (Amplifer and Sub speaker), what do I have to do to accomplish this?

The remote turn-on wire of an aftermarket head unit is neither needed nor desirable with a Monsoon amp. The amp uses audio signal sensing to turn on and off. What did you splice the turn-on wire to?

The after market radio should have pre outputs on the back for a sub just run the rcas to the rear or were ever you want the subwoofer.

I have no idea i assumed it was for the monsoon amp. Good to know it does nothing tho. The wire was there to be spliced so I did. I didn't have any change in audio so I assume it's not doing anything. Thank you for letting me know!
