Default New CDT sail panel subs won't work??

Hey all,

I have a 99 TA with the monsoon sound system. My sail panel subs blew and I bought 2 CDT brand new replacements from a member here.

The issue is the new ones have 2 terminals per speaker, where the factory ones have 4.
Did I get shipped the wrong speaker??

I'd really like to make these work if at all possible without damaging the sound system...is there anyway to do so?

You have two options... get the correct dual voice coil speakers with the four terminals (CDT does make that type) or give up half the power and simply connect one pair of your wires to the pair of terminals on the single voice coil speaker you received.

If the member you bought from was Ian Kee of Kee Audio, contact him with your question - he has always provided great customer service to our members.
