Default Multiple Amp Question

First amp is a a Kenwood 4 channel, 40x4. Second amp is JL Audio 500/1. I have 4 gauge power wire running to the back. Do i need a distribution block with 4 ga to 4/4, or will 4 ga to 8/8 work? Thanks

Default

use a distribution block and separate fuses #8 wire to the 40/4 is fine
I fuse the larger wire at the source too
