What do you mean wire up tail lights to dimmer switch? Something not working right or are you trying to change something?

New installation, got everything working great , press down on dimmer for highs works, when I press again all lites go out!

Are you blowing the TAIL LPS fuse? What vehicle? It sounds like you're using one of those ancient floor dimmer switches (press on, press off). The dimmer switch should be in the headlight circuit and not connected to the running/tail lights. The two circuits have nothing in common except the headlight switch which provides two separate outputs for running/tail lights and headlights.

Got it right, alls well, next is wireing up blinkers and brake lite switch, shouldn’t be a problem but if so I will be asking for advice again on this thread, thx Dana
