Default Monsoon to Pioneer deck woes.....

After battling things in my mind and trying different settings on the new radio for over a month....... Im tired of jacking with it to get what I feel is decent sound. No filters are on, no special crap. All I have done is mess with 13-band EQ. Which IMO makes me feel like I am trying to read an instruction manual that is written in japanese. In the end I feel like no matter what I do I am left with lifeless, tinny sound from my speakers. For anybody who has installed a new deck, have you ever decide to make the jump back to your old Monsoon head unit? Im tempted to get a Delco deck with a bluetooth radio installed in it off eBay. Im not sure what else to try and really dont want to spend the coin on speakers in my weekend car when I want to put that money towards getting my heads done.

I never understood the need for Bluetooth in a car stereo. You'll most likely be running things through the phone anyway so just get an input jack wired into the headunit and run everything through the phone and use the car speakers with the jack.

Probably just do that. Easier!

I put a Sony in my 98 many years ago (HD Unit) and have been loving it ever since. Best money I ever spent.

I have a pioneer double din in mine and it sounds much better then the factory radio did. Did you bypass the factory amp or something?
