Default What’s this USB cable for?

Just bought a 2005 Corvette from a dealership. When I got home I noticed a cable in the glove box that has a USB connector on it. Once it warms up here, Long Island, I’ll track it down and find what it goes too. But thought I’d see if anyone on here had any ideas.

There was no factory USB in Corvettes until 2011 and even then it was limited use only on navigation equipped cars so VIP1 is correct - it must be connected to an aftermarket radio. If that's the case (and depending on the radio make/model) you could use it to connect various external audio sources such as a flash drive or smartphone.
