Default Faulty Ignition Switch?

From what I've found on here, I think my ignition switch is going bad, just want to confirm it. VATS is bypassed, but hasn't previously been an issue. Intermittently, when I turn the key I get no crank at all. I have power to everything, but no crank. If I cycle the key from off to crank position 3-10 times, suddenly it will crank and fire right up and run fine so it shouldn't be the VATS disabling anything. It would crank, fire, then die if it was VATS correct? This is very intermittent too. I can drive for days and it'll be fine, then suddenly act up for a few times in a row. It seems like the switch contacts may be wearing out?

Have you checked the starter relay?

No it's an auto. Figures, the last couple starts have been fine. I'm starting to strip it down for paint now, so it probably won't see start up too often, but I'll keep an eye on that relay.
