That inner door surface needs to be very clean for good adhesion with the stick on materials. I think the Lizard Skin heavy sound deadening liquid might be better here for the inner door surface.

I got some citrus degreaser to clean the surface and rubbing alcohol to prep before putting the deadener on.

I don't think my door rattles. I was just going to put Noico on the speaker side to try to improve the bass of the 6.5" speakers. But, might as well, since it shouldn't be more than 30 mins per door to do the inside.

Frost King user here for about 20 years now. Use this as base liner against any metal skin including floor, roof, trunk, and doors.
Then use carpet jute padding. This stuff shoved into dead space cuts down on road noise and general NVH reduction. I like to add an extra layer over the headliner, against the door panel, and under carpets.

Last round deadening a whole car cost less than $50 and half a day.

Thanks . I’m changing my carpet this month so it’s perfect timing.

I think two 36 sqft packs of Noico 80 mil will be enough. That's about $130.

That seems low for the entire car. I would assume he's doing not just the floor pans, he did say doors. I would assume behind the sail panels and the roof also. It's 12" wide by 15ft long

I am using the foam baffles for my speakers, I also used spray sound deadener to seal them and installed them in the factory speaker plates.

I tried baffles on the sail panel speakers at first, but I thought that the baffles made the speakers sound worse.

Weird, I have used them in several vehicles and thought it was better... Maybe the speakers you are using need more volume or power?

Could be. I ended up replacing them with Pioneer M650PROs.

Nice, hopefully mine will be good, I would hate to have to pull the baffles at this point... Ha Ha

the shrill of an ex-wife.....

I bought this stuff on a roll from Lowes. Many people say "oh no it will stink like tar". Did my Z28 and my Corvette Z51 and never had the slight scent and I live in Charlotte NC, get real hot here.
