From what I hear the newer Lanzar amps are about as good as pyramid amps. Actually someone told me that now they are both owned by the same company. That explains why their quality has gone downhill. However, the older Lanzar amps (the older opti-drives) were pretty bad-*** for their time (early 1990's). In fact I am running one that I had bought in 1992 in my Z. It is an Opti-50 and still hits as hard as the day I bought it. I also have an Opti-100 laying around that I am thinking about putting in.

I used to love those optidrive Lanzar amps. The new Vibe series are entry level amps.
