I was wondering because I bought a wrecked 01 seirra that didnt have keys so we swapped all the handles and the ignition from an 01 chevy. So now O have a chevy key in a gmc. And I saw 2 new gmc key blanks and a leather key fob on e-bay for like $5. Just wondering.

I got mine from ebay for 15 bucks, they are 99 at the dealership. All you have to do is take your key to the service department and ask them what your VATS number is. Then tell the person on ebay what that number is

99-present trucks are a 7 dollar blank tops, we do them all day for 5 and change at work usally no chips or anything in them
