Heads Up Display

This topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't turn up much in a search. All I can remember is that www.Lingenfelter.com and http://www.defi-shop.com/ used to have some HUDs and Rhino T/A installed one in his car.
EDIT:
I just looked again. I looks like http://www.defi-shop.com/still has 2 different HUDs:
http://www.defi-shop.com/product/basis/basis_top.html
http://www.defi-shop.com/product/con...ncept_top.html

I know what he meant.
The general consensus from what I read was that it would be a PITA. That is why I posted about aftermarket kits. If you do a search, you'll see the same posts I saw on the subject. Search for "HUD" and "Heads Up Display". Some of the links in the posts no longer work and I couldnt find the post I read a while back where someone installed one of the kits in his car.

The main thing was that the PCMs themselves and the connectors in the HUD unit between the a Vette and F-body are different. Meaning, it's not plug and play. Now, if there was an electrical expert that knew Corvettes and F-bodies inside and out, he or she may be able to come up with a way to link the connections. Other wise it's SQUARE PEG, ROUND HOLE.
