VIPER 790XV Valet switch problem
Hi Folks
I installed my 790XV viper - it worked great but the Valet switch did not work. First, The car is a 2002 Camaro SS M6, so I decided not add the relays for starting the vehicle - just using the alarm. Does anybody have any ideas why the Valet switch does not work? The brain could be bad but maybe something has to hooked up that I did not connect because I wasn't use it. I would appreciate the help.
Thanks
Bill
PS: I buzzed the Valet switch and it worked. Also one side had 12V and when I push the button the gray wire had 12V.
PS2: Direct Electronics will not help unless you are dealer, etc.

Meter it! Put the meter on "fuse check" And on each contact on the button! Press button and see if it reads something. But I dont even use a push button on mine. I have a Bit Writter than plugs in and has a display screen. You can do way more with it too. Worst case take it to a shop just for programing?
