Default express down module

is it normal for the express down module to click like a relay?? the reason i am asking is because my driver side window is stuck in the down position and will not go up. i see a drain on the battery when i press the switch down, so i know the switch is ok. but i dont hear the motor make any noise at all. the express module down does click like a relay though. and i don't remember noticing that noise before. sorry for the long winded post.
thanks,
nebur

The power window control module contains the express down relay so it would not be unusual to hear the contacts click.

Chances are that your window problem is a failed motor on the driver's side (Murphy's Law says they always fail with the window down). This is very common with F-body power windows. A replacement motor with a lifetime warranty is available from AutoZone for about $50.

thanks for the heads up but i have replaced the motor twice already...love that lifetime warranty. so i dont think it is the motor cause it hasn't shown any signs of going. i will be cracking the door open to see if something is loose or the switch itself is bad.
thanks,
nebur
