Default Replacing head unit and losing speakers

Heres the deal, Ive searched and didnt get the answer I was looking for. Well, my stock monsoon head unit took a crap last week and I need to replace.

I just want to change the head unit, and nothing else. Now will I lose the sail speakers or not. Ive heard conflicting reports on this subject.

If so how can I go about it that I dont lose any of the speakers with a simple head unit swap?

It is a direct replacement, and you won't lose use of any speakers with a new HU. Just wire the new unit to a Metra wiring kit and plug it in. You will also need an antenna adapter.

So these are the part numbers I found

99-3300 for the adapter
70-1858 for the harness
40-GM10 for the antenna

Will I need the speaker adapter harness?
