Default How-To wire LOC?

I need a brief summary of how to wire-in a Low-Output Converter. It has 5 wires on the "in from stereo" side, 2 white ones (one with a black stripe) and 2 grey ones (also, one with a black stripe) and a brown "common ground" wire (according to the diagram on the LOC itself.

It says the white and grey wires go to the right and left channel stereo signal. What wires do I need to tap/splice to hook these into?

I think I can handle the "ground" wire, but I'm not sure about the other four. I think I can handle this, but I just want to make sure I'm following the right path. I am hooking the LOC up in the rear, and if I need to or if it would make it easier, I can really do without the factory rear speakers if it'd be easier to just cut the wires from the wiring harness and run it straight to the LOC. Do I have the right idea? If not, please correct my thinking!

Thanks in advance!
Taco
