This is a great write-up...I did a lot of research on this mod, and you won't find a better set of instructions...this is one of many "mods in progress" on my SS...

This was the best place I could find to buy the switch (S2000 version):

http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-03.html (it's about midway down the page)

This is a pretty good thread about this mod:

I did it. Wasn't hard at all. Took me about an hour...taking my time.

Get plenty of compliments on it also.

Why not?? I don't see it as a waste of time. It is something you don't see in most cars. And I have gotten plenty of looks and questions about it. Especially how clean the install was and how it looks.

It's not meant to appeal to everyone. But some of us like to do different things with our cars.

Everyone has their opinions and there's no point in arguing opinions.

Why are people even interjecting their opinions that don't pertain to the what was specifically asked:

I have mine wired to use just the button to start the car. But you have to put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position. Then hit the button. You can wire it so you can use bothe the button or the key to start the car.
