Why not?? I don't see it as a waste of time. It is something you don't see in most cars. And I have gotten plenty of looks and questions about it. Especially how clean the install was and how it looks.
It's not meant to appeal to everyone. But some of us like to do different things with our cars.

I have mine wired to use just the button to start the car. But you have to put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position. Then hit the button. You can wire it so you can use bothe the button or the key to start the car.
