Default 2000 Trans Am Cd Changer Problem

Well i have my trans am came with the trunk mounted cd changer option and well there would be times it wouldnt turn on and the light in it would flicker somedays it worked but now it doesnt i plug it in and it doesnt get any juice i was wondering if n e one else has had this problem and knows if it can be fixed also was wondering if it would hook up to a Sone Xplode Cd/Mp3 Player in the frong?

Sounds like you may have a cable problem or the output/input could be messed up. If you wiggle the cable and it comes on and off then there is your problem. You can always try a new cable at that point if a afriend will let you try it out by swaping changers. Otherwise it's new CD player time.

The Sony will not hook directly up to your deck.

Peripheral makes a CD/MP3 changer that will and it's only a tad more expensive than most 10disc changers AND it is universal and will work with almost any car with factory controls.
