Default Found some NICE sail panel subs!!!!

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14424

They go all the way down to 30HZ and handle decent watts for their size. I think i'm gonna pick up a set to try out in my Trans Am. What do you guys think.

This will be with a aftermarket HU and apline SPS-170As up front also.

they are 4 ohms, and that won't work with the stock amp.

Your going to be disapointed with the bass response unless you put an enclose behind the speaker..at least a baffle of some sort.

It says free air use ok though. I might try some of those paper type enclosures though.

I thought you had to use a 6.5" sub? Those are 6.75"

Maybe they are 6.5, but .25 of an inch can't be that much difference, you could make them fit.

Those are midbass speakers and may sound great. The manual offered by Kicker doesn't tell you much about the frequency response. But don't worry about the size --6.75 inch is the correct size in the sail panels.

THose are good and will work... they are NOT midbass speakers they are true subwoffers. Yes they are 4 ohm as are all the other options (RFP 4406 and JL 6w0) these will work very well. (they will work very will with the factory monsoon amp!)

Looks like a pretty good mid-bass set. The sail panels should have a true sub woofer though. Those Power Acoustics only go down to 50Hz which is not low enough unless you have a seperate sub.
